Jane Austen Afternoon Tea
Love afternoon teas, Jane Austen, or both? Join us at the Omni William Penn as we cebrate Jane Austen and our love of tea. Dr. Laura Engel of Duquesne University will expose you to a new and unique aspect of Jane Austen, her early works, and in the context of the theatrical world of the late eighteenth-century, an experience you will not want to miss.
We have reserved the private, country house feel of the Bob and Dolores Hope Room to provide the backdrop for an authentic, English afternoon tea. You will savor tea sandwiches, scones, pastries, fruit, and your selection of tea. To enhance this unique experience, please feel free to wear your hats or come in Regency period attire!
